We are looking for a Computer Science teacher to work with students aged 14–18 (grades 9-12) Our students are very different: some are preparing for iGCSE and A-level Computer Science, while others already have strong competitive-programming, olympiad, ML or software-development experience. The teaching load is approximately 15–17 one-hour lessons per week . What we expect - Experience teaching Computer Science and Python to students aged 14–18. - Strong understanding of standard algorithms and data structures. You should be able to implement things like recursion, binary search, quicksort, Dijkstra’s algorithm, linked lists and a basic binary search tree without preparation. - Some experience with competitive-programming problems and topics such as dynamic programming and complexity analysis. - Some practical experience with AI-assisted development / vibe coding — for example, building a small web application and deploying it to GitHub Pages. - Experience with iGCSE or A-level Computer Science is a plus. - Strong Python or C++, substantial olympiad experience, production software development, or practical ML experience would be really valuable. What you will do - Teach CS to groups with different levels, from A-level preparation to students working around IOI/IOAI level or building substantial software projects. - Prepare, run and mark internal assessments and mock exams, including cases where few relevant past papers exist. - Help develop our CS curriculum and teaching materials. - Encourage students to program, experiment, build things and explore technology beyond the school syllabus. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, comfortable learning new things, and genuinely interested in Computer Science as a living field rather than just an exam subject.
