POSTDOC POSITION — Kaiserslautern, Germany 👨‍💻 Где предстоит работать: Bykov group, RPTU Kaiserslautern, Germany. Young, well-funded laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment. The lab investigates the mechanisms that coordinate protein synthesis, targeting and quality control using functional genetics and advanced microscopy. 👩‍🔬 Чем предстоит заниматься: Lead an exciting project that aims to use high-content microscopy to understand how organelle biogenesis and morphology are rewired under stress conditions. The project offers collaborations with Mattei team at EMBL Heidelberg (cryogenic electron tomography) and Büttner lab at the University of Münster (organelle contact sites and cellular ageing). 🎯 Что от тебя требуется: • PhD (or close to completion) in molecular biology, cell biology, or related disciplines • Curious, creative, and highly motivated scientist • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an international research environment • Ability to analyze and interpret complex biological datasets • Background in bioimaging is an advantage but not required We actively support applications for competitive postdoctoral fellowships (e.g. EMBO, FEBS and MSCA).
