HR Generalist

HR Generalist IMC Trading 📍 Amsterdam, Netherlands About the role IMC Trading is looking for an HR Generalist to join its European HR Operations team in Amsterdam. Working alongside two other HR Generalists and reporting to the HR Operations Lead for Europe, you’ll support employees across the full HR lifecycle while contributing to HR operations, global mobility, and process improvement in a fast-paced trading environment. Responsibilities — Act as the first point of contact for employees on day-to-day HR matters throughout the employee lifecycle. — Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, Workday administration, background checks, and HR documentation. — Support employment lifecycle changes, including promotions, contract changes, visa renewals, and sabbaticals. — Coordinate global mobility and business travel processes, including visa applications, relocations, and travel allowances. — Maintain HR systems and employee data accuracy, and prepare reports using Workday and HR analytics. — Partner with external providers for relocation, immigration, and employee wellbeing services. — Support HR projects, seasonal hiring programs, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR Operations. Requirements — Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field. — At least 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Shared Services role. — Experience working with stakeholders across multiple countries and offices. — Basic knowledge of Dutch employment law and regulations (e.g. UWV). — Experience with Workday or another HRIS is an advantage. — Exposure to visa, immigration, or global mobility processes is a plus. — Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
