Senior Application Support Engineer 🏢 EPAM Systems 📍 Remote · Armenia 🕐 Full Time About the role We are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day support, operation, monitoring, and release of our middle and back office (M&BO) application portfolio. The role focuses on minimizing the adverse impact of incidents through rapid resolution and proactive maintenance, while ensuring the stability and reliability of critical business applications. What you’ll do 🗂 • Provide high-quality operational and technical application support to internal business functions • Resolve incidents and service requests for the M&BO application portfolio in line with defined Service Level Agreements • Perform daily morning and evening checks for all critical applications and deliver a status summary report to the IT Operations Team • Contribute to the planning of application releases and configuration changes, working with the Delivery Team to ensure successful deployments • Run core team processes such as Change Management, Problem Management, Month End, Quarterly Application Audits, Application Server patching, and cyclical application restarts • Proactively identify application improvements in the areas of performance, availability, and automation of repetitive tasks What we’re looking for 🔎 • Expertise in SQL and NoSQL, with hands-on experience in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB • Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Unix • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Background in the ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management • Competency in basic networking principles and protocols • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and balance investigation vs. escalation to 3rd lines or management How to apply 🙋 Open on ITA Jobs and apply → More IT vacancies in Armenia, matched to your CV — jobs.ita.am/vacancies #Support #Senior #Sql
