Talent Screener Lago 📍 Remote | Philippines, Serbia, LATAM 💰 $2,000–$3,000 USD/month 🕒 Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM PST About the role Lago is looking for a Talent Screener to support a US-based hiring team. The role focuses on reviewing applications, conducting screening interviews and ensuring candidates are assessed consistently against predefined criteria. Responsibilities — Review incoming applicants against knockout criteria and success profiles. — Conduct live video screening interviews using structured guides and scorecards. — Assess candidates’ qualifications, competencies, work authorization, location, relocation feasibility and compensation expectations. — Advance qualified candidates and escalate borderline profiles to recruiters. — Ask follow-up questions and adapt communication to candidates across different roles and seniority levels. — Maintain consistent scoring and accurate candidate records in the ATS. — Ensure applicants are reviewed within established timelines. — Maintain ATS data quality, privacy and compliance standards. — Flag recurring candidate quality issues to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Requirements — Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience. — 2+ years of experience conducting candidate interviews and virtual screenings. — At least 1 year of experience interviewing US candidates . — Previous experience supporting a US-based hiring team from an offshore location. — Excellent spoken English, CEFR C1 or above . — Strong interviewing, listening and candidate assessment skills. — Ability to apply structured assessment criteria consistently at high volume. — Comfortable working with confidential candidate information and in a fast-paced environment.
